Carolina in 2002 and have been making it ever since. We’ve sweetened this recipe to our liking, but as
always, add more or less sugar to your own taste. You can use black or green tea and let the tea sit for
a couple of hours in the refrigerator to really taste the orange.
We make this in an ice tea machine but the old-fashioned way works too.
Makes 2 quarts.
2 family-sized teabags or 6 regular teabags
(black or green)
1 quart water
½ cup sugar
Brew tea by traditional or tea-maker method. Slice the orange into thick slices, then quarter each slice.
Add oranges and sugar and stir well. Add ice to make 2 quarts. Chill until ready to serve.
